Address Bar search opens https://search.brave.com

Description of the issue:
When entering a search ie. “speed test” in the address bar and in the search bar ( using Vivaldi Browser ) I dont get a search result, instead the site “https://search.brave.com” opens up and I have to enter the search again.

**Brave Version( check About Brave): N/A using Vivaldi

Additional Information:
OS: MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
Browser: Vivaldi 5.1.2567.66

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is getting very frustrating. Surely I am not the only one with this problem.

Found the problem. I had the wrong URL. I changed it to: https://search.brave.com/search?q=%s
Now it works.
