720P or higher video on youtube has high latency

Problem starting surfacing this past 2 weeks. I can resolve this issue by turning off hardware acceleration but issue does not happen in chrome. Turning off hardware acceleration takes up a lot of CPU so I prefer not to do that. Could be linked to my AMD GPU, using RX 6700 XT.
