0x80072EE7 error when updating Brave

I get this error when I try to update Brave:
An error occurred while checking for updates: Unable to connect to the Internet. If you use a firewall, please whitelist BraveUpdate.exe. (error code 7: [0x80072EE7]

I’ve whitelisted Brave and braveupdate.exe and I still have this error. I should mention that I had issues with installing Brave from BraveBrowserSetup.exe, so I had to install from the standalone installer. I kept getting the error that it couldn’t connect to the Internet even though I was connected and I whitelisted the install file but it still didn’t work. I don’t have any issues with installing or updating Google Chrome.

This one is the latest release.

And for all,
Currently there’s a maintenance with the update server. We can wait and try again later.

Thanks
