Youtube with image delay

Description of the issue:
youtube videos are stutering after loading, the image is delayed with the audio and after some seconds playing it starting loading, than playing, than loading…
I have tried to run the same video in Edge and it works fine.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open a randon video on YT
  2. Start watching
  3. Video freezes and start loading
  4. Chance tabs
  5. Video start reproducing audio
  6. Return to YT tab
  7. Video with image stutering

Brave Version: v1.46.140
Extra informations:
-I don’t have extensions
-recently formatted PC

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings, to see if this resolves the issue?

You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration.

I disabled hardware acceleration about 30 minutes ago and so far it’s working, thanks!
