Description of the issue:
Some of the videos on YT are running poorly on Brave. Audio falls out of sync often and the player tries to “catch up” or it stutters every couple of seconds even though there is plenty of buffer left.
Same videos run smoothly on Chrome and Firefox.
This is a fresh install, I have no extensions, disabling HWA does not alleviate the problem.
It seems to be worse in Private window and higher quality makes the issue more noticeable.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGpCUVUmXOU
- Set quality to 1440p60, let it buffer and play it.
Expected result:
Videos to run smoothly.
