So, basically, YouTube is showing me this warning that I have to allow ads to watch videos.
But I don’t want to and that is why I came to Brave. How do I get rid of this please?
Hello @FahimR - YouTube is regularly updating their systems (so this occurs fairly often). I’d recommend going through the steps outlined by @Saoiray here, as this same error appeared for @BINNE and they were able to resolve it.
Try using this User Script it works well for me at blocking the YouTube anti ad blocker crap, it works by replacing the default player.
When YouTube triggers an ad-blocker warning or video pause, this script replaces the default video player with an iframe version. This bypasses YouTube’s ad-detection logic, allowing for smooth video playback without the need for additional extensions or plugins.
You will need a User Script Manager to install it in such as Tampermonkey.
I prefer to install it in the paid version of the System Wide Adguard App for macOS because it is browser independent and is not affected by Chromes M3 changes.
