Youtube video lagging at 60fps

Description of the issue: Youtube video at 60 frames is lagging.
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open any youtube video, set to 1080p60 or higher (must be 60 frames/s) and video starts lagging every fes seconds.
  2. Also a lot of frames are lost.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.18.70

Additional Information: ON all other browsers it is going well. I am using yoga c940 with 10tg gen i7 and 16gb RAM so it should not be a low HW problem I guess.

Have you tried turning off(or maybe on in your case) the “hardware acceleration” on your browser’s settings? Maybe it will help.

I tried it. It helps a bit (less lagging) but not fully, still some lags.
Also if I turn it off other pages are affected and slower, I need HW acceleration for some pages for work.
