Hey muxxq,

Got a few questions for you:

  1. Did this happen after you updated?
  2. Were you doing anything in particular before you started receiving this issue?
  3. Does disabling you extensions or going to a new profile stop these issues?

1.No, I just updated my Brave before I opened this topic to the latest one and the problem still persists.
2. I don’t remember doing anything specific, just one day in the morning opened up a YouTube link a friend sent me and getting this error.
3. I haven’t installed or uninstalled any extensions neither did I enable or disable them. I really haven’t touched them…
God… this is so random I can’t find anything specific that would cause this to happen. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t but I think I got a pattern. I usually get this error on YT pages already open before like watching a video, closing the browser, open it again and getting this error. Also if I manage to watch a video and I switch YT users the error occurs again, it doesn’t matter to which one just switching it to any causes it to get this error. And I also get it when copy and pasting YT links or opening YT links from Discord sent by friends. The same programs are running in the background as usual nothing new installed or opened. Should I just reinstall Brave…?

Reinstalling might help. Don’t uninstall the current browser unless you plan on doing a full wipe of Brave. Alternatively, you could also download the other versions to see if the issue persists on any of those.

However, before you do so, I would suggest trying to clear your cache /browsing data in brave://settings/privacy to see if that might fix the issue first.
