YouTube live chat not available

Description of the issue:
There is no live chat available while watching livestreams.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open YouTube - select current or past livestreams
  2. After a stream ends the comments section is available, but no replay of chat is viewable.
  3. During a livestream there is no option to view or participate in the chat.

Expected result:
?
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Not sure sorry. Couldn’t find ‘About Brave’? It’s the latest Android version if that helps.

Oppo a74 5g

Additional Information:
This has been an ongoing issue ever since I downloaded the Brave android app via Google Play store, a year or so ago.

No replies from anyone yet, so I’m wondering if this is because it’s a) not an issue anyone else has; or b) it’s an expected and unavoidable issue when using YouTube via the Brave browser on a mobile phone?
