Workbox in BraveBrowser blocks fetch calls

So there is this thing called Workbox that is used to determine how to behave whether a client is connected to the internet, or whether they are requesting a desktop version of the website, used in PWA apps.

There is a long-standing bug with the Brave Browser that blocks some fetch calls from the client resulting in the deprecation of important features of the website/app.

This bug has been long enough that you are familiar with it.
I was wondering if this can be fixed because I am using the Brave Browser for some reason and I was wondering if it’s time to change

1 - What kind of device and OS do you have?
2 - Have you updated to the latest Brave version?
