Windows Defender showing Brave shows adware as virus

Just today, Windows Defender is showing the following as a “threat”:
file: C:\Users\pulle\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default\Cache\f_02b441

Description: This program delivers potentially unwanted advertisements to your computer.
Is this an infection? Or is this something that is being misinterpreted by Windows Defender?

yep and it’s very annoying

I am getting a Windows 10 Virus and Threat Protection for Adware:JS/InjectorAd.A - Alert Level High with the same “This program delivers…” message that you listed. But, the Affected items on my system is: C:\Users\ameador\AppData\Local\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\User Data\Default\Cache\f_006f62 - and others. The folder f_xxxxxx is listed different in each of the warnings I keep getting.

Is this the same issue? Has there been any solution or confirmation yet as to whether or not this needs to be removed or left alone? Thanks!
