User Files Possibly Being Mistaken as Adware

Description of the issue:
Have been getting notifications on Action Centre for a while now about unresolvable threats. When checking Defender, it shows a list of what it thinks is Adware. Looking at the information on the files gives me this:
ae0b1dc50d240d8397755558db805568

How can this issue be reproduced?:
I just have to sit there and it happens.

Expected result: Should not be happening at all.

Brave Version: 1.0.1 Chromium: 78.0.3904.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: Scanning with my paid Anti-virus software reveals nothing, indicating that this likely might be a false positive from Defender. Either way, I shouldn’t be hearing from Defender at all.

Given the frequency of these notifications, I’m inclined to believe Windows Defender is just mistaking operational files as adware. But I wouldn’t mind a confirmation, maybe even a hotfix? Yes?

@scythemouse,
Apologies for the late reply.
This is an older issue that seem to have resurfaced and we’re looking into it again now. Thank you for your patience.
