Windows 11 user agent

I have upgraded to a new computer to Windows 11.
I see the user agent for Brave returns windows 10 still…
Is this going to be updated to cover 11 or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!
John

Brave uses default Chromium/Chrome user-agent, Brave doesn’t make a custom one, Brave does it because using Chrome user-agent will blend with millions of Chrome users = reducing fingerprinting.

Where are you seeing “Windows 10” anyway? There is no windows version in the browser’s user-agent, if you mean the NT, that’s a different topic, that’s the kernel, and kernel has nothing to do with Windows version. Win11 kernel version is 10.0 same as Windows 10, and Servers 2016, 2019 and 2022.
I mean, Vista, 7 and 8 stayed in the 6.x, Vista was 6.0, 7 was 6.1 and 8 was 6.2. So as you can see, nothing to do with Windows version.

You can see it in CMD by using systeminfo | findstr OS for example.

I have an old ASP page that returns Windows versions according to the ua…
I thought you might have your OWN here and it was a guess, really.
Thanks for your reply.
(I cobbled it to work now, I think)
