Exact same thing happening to me (upgraded today and every few mins brave crashes now…). Very frustrating.
Can you please check the solution here and tell me if this resolves the issue for you?
Thanks for everyone reporting. This appears to be an issue with the cyrpto.com widget and/or Brave News (leaning toward being the widget for most users). The team is aware of the issue and already working on a fix.
That said, if anyone is willing to submit their crash reports (brave://crashes) and report the crash report ID given there, it would be extremely helpful for us
Additionally, can you please send the report then reply here with the crash report ID (both can be done via brave://crashes) and I will forward it to the necessary team members?
Thank you.
turn off Cards if you haven’t. That’s what fixed mine from shutting off

Looks like Brave v1.45.118 (Nov 2nd, 2022) corrected the crash problem.
Thanks for the quick repairs. Brave is now as reliable as ever.
