Why sync doesnt work with older versions of brave browsers esp., on desktop and between android apps?
Shifted back to 90 and 100 versions of chromium of brave but sync isnt working. (dont say to update, deliberately shifted back to older versions since new versions arent working properly and not as per my preferences, same as I have with chrome).
What to do next?
@Starfish90s because code changes, including things to improve on security. If you want to use Sync, Rewards, and other features then you have no choice but to use the more recent versions of Brave. Otherwise support all drops and you won’t be able to use it.
Another thing to add, just tried a week ago version yet sync was working. So google.
Didn’t say it requires most recent, but it does require fairly recent. After so many versions, it can have issues. I’ve never learned the magic number. I only know they constantly are updating and if we lapse behind, won’t be able to use everything as intended
