Why can’t we make Chrome as secure as Beast using extensions such as Ghostery, Privacy Badger, HTTPS Everywhere, etc.?

We already have https everywhere included, though most sites have moved to https and Chrome has some https improvements recently.
We’re actually blocking more trackers, tracking scripts, ads than both Privacy Badger and Ghostery.

I am a little confused. Can you walk me through the differences between using Brave and using a VPN? Would both do the exact same things or does one do different things than the other?
