Using GOOGLE Extensions & privacy

Good Morning;

I discovered BRAVE last week quite by accident.

So far, I like it a lot. Quite nice in fact. My query is this:

By choosing to use a few of the GOOGLE extensions that I have been been using with CHROME … I am curious to know if that choice introduces any actual or potential compromises into BRAVE, with respect to either the privacy and/or performance aspects, which are 2 of the major reasons for trying it in the first place?
