Description of the issue: I just had to prove I’m human to Brave to see the results of Brave search. Typed the search terms in the address bar.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Search something in the Brave address bar
Expected result:
Search results are displayed
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave 1.79.126 [Please make that copy and pastable. Copying from screen to paper and back is ridiculous. Moving the link to the current version’s download page to a sensible location would be enough, or stopping the embedded link from making the whole line into a link. And make the prompt in the form here “check Help/About Brave” or similar]
Additional Information: I am serious and, while a bit frustrated, certainly not out to troll. I know this looks like it. Yes, it’s Brave itself. No, no other site has anything to do with it. No, I don’t know why the Brave browser itself has integrated Captchas (or the Brave search site mistrusts a standard Brave install). I also don’t know how to reproduce it, it just happened. I am actually hoping for a way to turn it off, altogether.
