Captcha popping up when using google search in incognito

Hey everyone, I’ve been having this issue in brave desktop browser for a couple days now. Whenever I go into incognito and browse in google, it keeps popping up a captcha to confirm I’m not a robot. At first I was thinking it may be a issue with my PC, but I also tried using brave on my laptop and it’s the same issue. Does anyone know what might be going on and if there is a fix for this? I’m using browser version: 1.79.119 and my OS is Windows 11

@alextom thank you for reporting. I’m seeing this issue on my end as well. Have reached out to the team about this – will reply back here as soon as I have more information.

Are you using a VPN or maybe securedns @alextom ?

No VPN or securedns, I tried on both my laptop and computer to see if it may have been one or the other, but the problem occurs on both of them

Same thing happens for IOS for me.

Team Brave Support,

I am also facing the same issue, kindly help us here.

I am facing the same issue. Already checked for malware and internet. Everything is fine on my end. Not facing this issue on my phone though.

Same issue on Debian 12. Happens mostly at the very first boot of the day

Hey everyone, just wanted to give an update. I’ve been using brave for the past 2 days and the captcha hasn’t been coming up as of late. I’m assuming it’s fixed now but I’ll update if it comes back. Thank you everyone for your support!
