Yes. I tried that also. I also tried with a new profile. There are no issues on any other browser, only with brave. I also disabled shields, and same thing is happening.
One more quick test for you — can you confirm whether or not the Beta version of the browser behaves the same way as the stable version? Note that downloading/installing the Beta will not overwrite your current installation.
Removed McAfee, did every test available from HP, ran Malware checker. Touchpad stops, page locks up, tabs close 5 seconds after I click on them to close. I started using Edge and have not had any of those problems. Been using Brave for at least 2 years and it just started happening within the last 2 months.
