US date format shown on UK website

As you can see from the screenshot shown in below, the “offer dates” on the Tesco online shopping website are shown in US date format (mm/dd/yy), NOT in the correct UK format (dd/mm/yy)
Tesco technical support were unable to reproduce the problem and asked me to check the site using a different browser. The same dates were displayed correctly (UK Format) in Microsoft EDGE.

I checked the Language setting in Brave Settings and “English” is the number 1 language. I can’t see any other Date format settings in Brave.
Windows is set to UK Language and Date Formats

I have not seen any other dates elsewhere in US format, only those shown in the screenshot

How can this issue be reproduced?
As described above, visit Tesco online shopping site and view special offers

Expected result:
I expect all dates in Brave to be shown in UK date format

Does setting the language to English(United Kingdom) make a difference?

Many thanks for your reply and the suggestion which appears to have worked.
Note that it also is important to select (via the three dots) that English (UK) is the one to be used by the Brave UI
