Date format to DD/MM/YYYY

Description of the issue:
Date format is keep being shown as mm/dd/yyyy instead of mm/dd/yyyy

I tried this solution but it keep persist.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Access to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/date and check for the first example and validate date format.
  2. Another example: In the browser developer tools run this line new Date().toLocaleDateString() and validate the returned date format
  3. in both examples the returned date is mm/dd/yyyy

Expected result:
In both examples the returned date should be dd/mm/yyyy

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.41.100 Chromium: 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Sorry, no suggestions but was wondering if you checked other chromium based browsers and if this is only happening in Brave?

More questions:

Are you using a vpn?

Did you happen to go to your windows settings and confirm the date and time formats and region settings are correct?

Was the date and time displaying correctly before the current version update (1.41.100)?
