Description of the issue: URL autocomplete list is in a different order than previously. instead of the most-used match being the top and active (wherein hitting enter will take me there), there are random search suggestions at the top.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- type in an url you type in most every day.
- start typing it again and see if the url is at the top and becomes active.
Expected result: for the most-often used full url to be the top result, active, and to load when i hit enter after typing the first few letters that distinguish the url.
Brave Version( check About Brave
):
Version 1.60.118 Chromium: 119.0.6045.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information: yeah, it’s super minor. but it was SO much nicer typing in a few letters and hitting enter, instead of typing a few letters and tapping the up arrow three or four times, then hitting enter. or forgetting and ending up in a search.
oh, i went into Settings: Search Engine and turned off “improve search suggestions”, which removed the 2 search options (see attached image), but it left the top whatever that is (reload icon? clock icon?) in.
