I would appreciate if this is fixed in 12 hours, as per your requirement of either registering with Uphold or losing all the accumulated BATs.

I followed all procedures on time, so it would be extremely unfair if I lose everything because of this inconvenience.

Briefly describe your issue:

After finishing the verification process on Uphold, I tried to connect Brave Rewards, but I keep getting this cryptic error message:

"Your request is still being processed, please wait.

Sorry there was a problem processing your request, please try again."

If I press the orange “Try Again” button, it simply continues to fail.

When checking brave://rewards-internals/, I see the following log:

[Oct 30, 2023, 3:36:28.8 AM:ERROR:connect_external_wallet.cc(186)] Failed to connect uphold wallet!

Additionally, when checking the “Integrations” section of the Uphold Dashboard, it effectively recognizes that Brave Browser is connected, so it appears to be a problem with the browser itself.

Also, I did check previous threads about the same issue, but none of advice there was useful for my current situation.

What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave)?

What date did you connect a your Brave Rewards Profile?

That’s why I’m here. I can’t connect Brave Rewards to Uphold.

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?

I received monthly BAT payments up until a few months ago, when you said we needed to register to Uphold.

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)

No.

Are you in a supported region?

Of course. I started the procedures with Uphold since one week ago, and I just got confirmation that my account is 100% verified and ready.

Does your device pass the [SafteyNet] check (Android only)?

Using a laptop.

Have you fully completed Uphold’s CDD requirements?

Unfortunately no. I tried everything at this point.

I filled a Support Request with Brave. I hope they reply on time.

EDIT: Enter to brave://rewards-internals/ and go to Logs. Scroll to the bottom and check if you have the same code error as me.

As a reminder, mine was this:

I have the same issue. On my uphold wallet it shows Brave browser connected under integrations, however on brave browser rewards it shows logged out of uphold, with a message to log in to uphold to see balance. When I try to log into uphold on brave I get the same message “Your request is still being processed, please wait. Sorry there was a problem processing your request, please try again.”
All was working fine since 2021, last Bat payments from brave to uphold received on 4 Oct, I am in a supported region. uphold wallet verfied for years.
Brave browser updated to latest version. cookies and history cleared.

Hey all! The issue should be resolved and anyone getting the Please try again later notice should now be able to connect. So do please try to connect again. If you still have issues, do advise and we’ll do out best to assist and figure out what’s going on.

@nathaniel I’d create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431 for what it’s worth. But I’ll also tag @Evan123 on here in case he has any extra assistance. I know the vBAT goes away in about 10 hours from now.

Yeah, for people who had been waiting, it’s a highly stressful situation. Never is a good thing to wait until the last moment.

First announcement was https://brave.com/rewards-changes/ which was back in January. Then they did again https://brave.com/vbat-sunset/ in August. Here we are in November and people still haven’t linked.

Of course, that’s speaking of those who are able. People in countries not supported just were out of luck regardless.

I don’t think the problem is solved if it continues to happen after several months. And I personally am tired of so many problems with brave rewards this year. Losing rewards and having to reset rewards wallet

It’s not “continuing to happen.” It happened, was resolved, and then an issue occurred where it’s happening again.

It’s kind of like if there is a power outage in your area and they get the electric running. Then months later there is another outage. Would you say the outage from before is “continuing to happen” or would you say they are two separate incidents? Especially if maybe the first time it was because a tornado came through and destroyed things and the second time it’s because a car hit the electric pole. Two completely different things, right? That’s what we have going on here…
