Hello due to the continuous connection failures in the Uphold account, we are considering changing the account to Gemini
What is your opinion of Gemini and if it works well with Creators. a greeting

I recommend you to keep using Uphold, you may report your problemas making another post here. I think Uphold its better than Gemini, but thats my opinion. Search for at least two more opinions, so you dont have to make a mistake

I am based in Canada and Uphold does not support our banks. They said they did, but they don’t and my BATs were stuck.
For Gemini, they ask me to send them a bit of money via wire transfert (which cost 15$ CAD) to confirm my bank account. Considering that price to send and that I already gave them access with my bank password (using their Plaid crap), that seems very scammy.
On the other hand, I can transfer my BAT to another exchange for free, so I use that one.
Now, I am searching for an Exchange that will successfully let me withdraw to hard money.
I have to wait next paiement to try out…

if you use gemini you can sell for real cash at anytime, take that money buy another crypto or just withdraw it. Why not transfer the $15 and buy some crytpo-gemini earn has some great interest rates

It is not a 15$ transfer; it is a 15$ fee on the transfer (that is what my bank charges since that is a special type of transaction).
That means that i would have to send 16$ on which i lose the 15$ fees and only get 1$ in Gemini.
My goal being to withdraw BAT, it doesn’t make sense to pay to waste 15$.
And also, it looks scammy:
- give me your bank username and password to verify your bank account
- now that you did it, actually, we also want you to send us money to validate
I don’t trust Gemini enough yet. Maybe in a few years…

cant blame Gemini for your banks fees. I have enjoyed using Gemini so far with no issues. And My BAT so far has shown up from here each month there with no problems. Hoping to get Octobers in a few day,

No, but I can blame them for asking me my bank username and password to get my account details for validation purpose, then not consider that enough valid and ask me to use a very expensive money transfer means.
I never needed to transfer any money to any bank to be able to receive money from that bank.
They know my account number and they know it is mine. There is no reason to ask me to pay more for more validation. Will that really be enough after? Maybe again that won’t be enough and they will ask for a third validation.

No I don’t since the screen doesn’t say anything about gas fees. It doesn’t say there is any and it doesn’t say how much if any. All I see is a gray button. If it needs anything, then there is clearly a UI bug since there is no way for me to know what is missing and what is going on.

on Gemini-verifying bank thru plaid is pretty common-had to do that with Coinbase, Voyager, Celsius, Block Fi…
GL sorry I cant be a help-not sure with that browser wallet the issuess, seems like everyone has issues with it, I used gemini and havent had any issues thankfully! When transfring wallet to wallet there are usually gas fees, so be good for them to add that if thats your problem

Thanks for the answers, it seems that Gemini you have no disconnections, It is what we are looking for since uphold gives problems you have to look at the account daily to check its status.
Looks like maybe Gemini is monitoring this forum since during this night, they decided to validate my bank account and replied to my support ticket that was dead for 2 weeks.
I am glad that I will be able to finish testing in this month’s round and finish my blog post about Brave reward system.

Gemini isn’t available in my country. Bangladesh. Meanwhile Uphold has bad user satisfaction.
thats great! Whenever I have a problem with anyone I go on Twitter-contact them and almost 100% of time I get it corrected quick–no one wants bad twitter posts

Are you in the US? this feature is only available there and in Singapore, according to their website.
