Unable To Verify Brave Rewards Wallet

Briefly describe your issue:
Unable to link my empty wallet to a new Gemini account on a fresh install of Brave. I have never linked a Brave wallet before, so I’m not sure about the 4-device limit I have read about.

After reading this post (Your request is still being processed, please wait. Sorry there was a problem processing your request, please try again), I went to brave://rewards-internals/, but couldn’t find the referenced “active” status referred to in the article. I also don’t have any existing wallet to restore this new one to.

I viewed the logs at brave://rewards-internals/, and saw that each attempt to verify the wallet with Gemini produced these two error messages:

[Jan 11, 2022, 3:06:55.0 PM:ERROR:post_claim_gemini.cc(87)] Internal server error
[Jan 11, 2022, 3:06:55.0 PM:ERROR:gemini_authorization.cc(232)] Couldn’t claim wallet!

Not relevant. I have never linked a wallet before.

I have a similar issue. I got a new PC, installed Brave on it, cannot verify my Gemini wallet. I get the same error and in the log files (Jan 11)

I do have Brave installed on another PC with the Gemini wallet verified months ago. I just cannot verify it now on this new PC/client.

I am also having this issue, never verified a wallet. My logs seem completley empty for some reason. Perhaps I am missing something. Tried restarting PC and browser, and logging out of gemmi and logging back in as part of verification process.

You have to click on the “Refresh” button to see the logs.

This should be resolved soon.

Seems to be working for me now. I was able to successfully verify my Gemini wallet with Brave now. Thanks!

Not working here, i was connected to my Gemini account and have lost the connection, and now, i can’t link the account again.

On brave://rewards-internals/ my wallet is “Valid” and i have a “Wallet Payment Id”, but my Wallet Status is “Not Connected”
