Cannot verify gemini account

Hi all,

Having not go any rewards for December and ads not longer being served I decided to sign up for Gemini. Figured if I was going to have to reset the browser at least I would keep what I had. In the end I have reset that too to try and work this out.

Whenever I try to verify it says…

Your request is still being processed, please wait.

Sorry there was a problem processing your request, please try again.

I checked in brave://rewards-internals/ and it just says…

Anyway having reset the browser I am still no further forward with adding a verified account.

Anyone any ideas on what I am doing wrong. I saw another post from Nov with what looks similar but that was solved with an update.

Wallet Info says the wallet is valid and a payment ID exists. External Wallet is Not Connected

Update Jan 25, 2022: Thank you everybody for your patience. We are working with the Gemini team to get everything back up and running. We currently expect Gemini user wallets in Brave Rewards to be back online around Feb 2-3, 2022 (next week).

So does this mean the gemini account buyers will resume buying by first week of february?

@dsims is correct here. We will be sure to update everyone here when the fix goes through.

Team, still I am seeing error message (mentioned above) while verifying acc with Gemini. Please revert back asap on this.

I believe the Gemini linking issue should now be resolved. Please try re-connecting (or verifying) your wallet with Gemini now.

This is still a problem for me. Same message:

Same experience. Not getting through and is frustrating. One of the benefit of using Brave is BAT but this is not the case.

Can we get support to resolve this?

A flagged profile would be a separate issue than being unable to verify your Gemini wallet. Are you experiencing one or both issues?

@dsims I’m only facing this issue now. Can’t tell if its a flagged profile issue causing verifying a delay to verifying my Gemini wallet .

The no action recommendation is the most frustrating aspect as one can never tell if the issue is being worked on or not.

For the flagged profile, you should DM the moderators with your wallet payment id found at brave://rewards-internals. Do not post your wallet id! Be sure to indicate your account is flagged and for how long.

Mattches and Steeven are the moderators who handle most of the rewards issues.

To send a direct message (DM) to a moderator:

  1. Click on their icon on the About page then select the Message button in the top right corner
    -OR-
  2. You can go to your profile and create a new message in Messages.
