Trying to get in on BAT but when I click the “enable ads” option, nothing happens. It stays gray and in the off position. So I’m unable to turn on ads and earn BAT. There’s an “auto-contribute” option just below that toggles on and off just fine, so I’m not sure what’s happening.
I’ve searched around and it doesn’t seem like there’s anything online about this issue so I figured I’d ask here.
I am not sure about what’s the result you were expecting, but if the ads are enabled in the BAT windows you will get periodical ad notification depending upon the setting you choose. After enabling ads you can click the ads setting menu on the left side to choose the setting you like.
Notice the three lines menu left of the blue toggle. If you are having the same windows as I am, the ads will work. The ads are also dependant on the location you are in. Some countries get fewer ads. You can approximate the amount based on the number of ad campaigns in your country. You can check that on https://brave.com/transparency/
Shoot, sorry I didn’t make this clear enough. When I click the on off switch beside the “Ads” option, it does not click on. The switch below it toggles off and on just fine, but the ads option stays off when I tap on it.

Is your Brave browser updated to the latest version? Did you try closing and reopening Brave (It may still be running a process in the background)?
Ok wow I closed and reopened it 3 times and nothing changed. And then i tried one more time and it clicked on.
Very weird but glad it’s fixed at least. Thanks for the help guys

There is a bug where you can’t right-click or toggle in Brave sometimes on some things. Closing and reopening will fix it 99% of the time. If you ever had a problem in the future, be aware of that. Glad I could be of some help.
