The slider to switch the Brave Ads on doesn’t work. Tried reinstalling application with no success

I have the same problem. Tried reinstalling, restarting, etc. The slider down below about tips works, but not the one to turn on the ads. I have windows 8.1 pro.
Guys, I also have this same problem since the last 3 months. No one has an idea of the reason for this happening to us?
I earned BAT during the last year, then i stopped earning rewards around September. In January, I turned off the ads and when trying to turn on again (after some seconds) it was not possible any more. Since then, i cannot turn it on.
