Unable to save passwords

Saving passwords when prompted does nothing.
Brave Version 1.10.97 Chromium: 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OS X 10.15.5

I have both these set:

  • Offer to Save Passwords
  • Auto-Sign-in

I followed the 9 steps as outlined here: Unable to "Save Password" on any website after keychain account password change

At step 8, the newly imported password did not appear.
In the nightly build I can save passwords.
