@dannyzee4 the above reply is to show it is showing up on those websites, at least for me. If it’s not showing for you then I’m assuming it might be your settings. For example, I don’t have the translate button here on Brave Community. But that’s because I told it to never offer to translate English.
One thing I will point out is that if you right click on the website, you will see a translate option. Such as:
Could you go to Settings → Languages, then scroll to the bottom to check out your Brave Translate settings? Have you perhaps selected it not to offer to translate from Italian or something? The setting should look something like you see below, where you’ll see on the bottom that I have English in the Never offer to translate these languages section.
So when you do exclude a language, such as I have excluded English. This pertains to the majority of the site and not just the content on it. For example:
If I go to https://community.brave.com/t/bat/581998/ which is all in Japanese, it won’t offer to translate because it’s from an English website.
Hey thanks a lot for your effort and for that answer.
Good to know the right-click option is there to force a translation.
And yes I had a look after reading your reply and at some point I have indeed set Italian to not translate, so I’ve removed that and it’s offering automatically again
