After the update to new version TOP SITES bar it doesn’t show anymore

How can this issue be reproduced?
Updating BRAVE to last Version!

Expected result:
See my TOP SITES right there where they were before the update!

by the way I continue to see LOT of background images but NO Pop-up Ads
(HTML5 notifications work fine https://www.bennish.net/web-notifications.html)
