The sound of a closed tab continues to be played.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. (Probably: having activated the sound in the background)
  2. Google News > Redirect to a new tab : https://www.futura-sciences.com/sciences/breves/champ-magnetique-son-champ-magnetique-terrestre-terrifiant-7143/ > Redirect to a new tab : https://www.esa.int/Applications/Observing_the_Earth/FutureEO/Swarm/The_scary_sound_of_Earth_s_magnetic_field > Play the SoundCloud track in the last tab.
  3. close the three tabs.

Expected result:

No sound after closed tab

Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.44 (22.10.17.18)

Thank you for reaching us and sorry to hear you’re having trouble with Brave. Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings to see if this resolves the issue?

You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration

@Alice2095 There are no such settings on the iOS Brave app.
