Restarted my pc and Brave auto updated, big mistake! UI looks awful.

My laptop has been set to Dark Theme, which is fantastic… Suddenly now almost every page on Brave is Light Theme, all without an option for Dark Theme. Absolutely ridiculous ‘update’, more like a backwards move.

@Sir_Robin_of_Loxley in Brave, go to Settings → Appearance → Brave colors and select either Dark or Same as (system). Note that this only changes the browser theme and internal pages — website themes are dictated by the individual website.
So if the website “wants” their site to appear as “light”, then it will. Some websites will offer the option to choose the theme which is also relevant — for example, it looks like this on Youtube:
