Text bug on save files in a folder ( □ □ □ □ )

Description of the issue:
it started happening today. when I try to save or open a file using Brave the text looks like this. ( □ □ □ □ )
I tried to change the font on my computer and browser, but it didn’t solve the problem.
I didn’t do anything new or change any settings today.

Steps to Reproduce
This happens when saving or opening a file on my computer.
Also happens in the private tab.

Brave Build and Version:
Version 1.17.75 Chromium: 87.0.4280.88 (Official version) 64-bit
O.S: 5.9.8-2-MANJARO

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Yes

Additional Information:
This does not happen in other browsers.

I don’t use Manjaro, but on Debian/Ubuntu, the fonts-liberation package needs to be installed to fix this problem.
