I’d love to see the ability to sync tab groups between Android and Windows devices. While this feature already exists for syncing tab groups across Windows devices, it does not extend to Android, which creates friction in my workflow.
Why this matters:
Currently, if I open a tab group on my PC, I can’t access it on my Android device unless I manually recreate it (or share all the tabs). As a result, I sometimes lose track of important tab groups I’ve opened on less frequently used devices.
Why it should be prioritized:
- Consistency across devices: Many users work across multiple platforms, and having access to the same tab groups regardless of device would greatly enhance productivity.
- Competitive relevance: Chrome has recently added this capability, which suggests it’s technically feasible and has proven useful to their users.
Just to clarify, I’m not referring to the existing functionality for viewing open tabs on other devices or sharing individual tabs. I’m talking about a permanent, multi-directional sync of saved tab groups across platforms.
