Sync not working with tabs between windows laptop and iphone

Description of the issue:
I am currently using the sync feature however my tabs are not shared across devices. How can i make sure that my iphone and windows laptop share the same tabs being browsed?

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
open brave browser on desktop, open brave browser on iphone. tabs do not sync despite being connected to each other

Reproduces how often:
every time

Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Version 1.19.86 Chromium: 88.0.4324.96 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question:
windows laptop
apple iphone 8 plus

iOS only support bookmarks sync ATM. :man_shrugging:t2:

will this be a future addition? and is there a way to find out if it ever does become implemented?

I am seeing issues with sync on two Windows 10 20H2 systems here. Computer A can see the sync’d tabs from computer B but computer B only sees 2 of the 10 tabs from computer A. Both are on Version 1.20.85 Chromium: 88.0.4324.96 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

Yes. I saw there’s an issue logged for adding this feature and other data types, @MenaceTheDennis.

Will this be a feature soon?
This will determine whether I use brave or not instead of another browser.

I am still waiting for them to finally fix a cookie deletion bug that has lingered in Brave for almost 2 years.
