Sound Not Working on Brave (MAC)

Hi.

Sound is not working on Brave browser for me. In any shape or form. I have tried a number of fixes.

  1. I have made sure the tab is not muted - via the little microphone at the top.
  2. Have turned off Hardware Acceleration and restarted the browser.
  3. Made sure that Brave has full disk access and other permissions.
  4. Made sure that ‘Sites can play sound’ is selected in settings.
  5. Have deleted and redownloaded Brave.

Please can someone help me with this. If there is no fix, I will have to stop using Brave - my browser of choice otherwise.
