Description of the issue:
When I go to Youtube or any other site, there’s no sound. I’ve tried going to app sound settings but Brave wasn’t there. When I installed Brave there was sound, but every time I opened Brave the sound got quieter and quieter until there was no sound at all. I’ve tried with headphones, my laptop’s speaker, and hooking my computer to a TV by HDMI cable. Only the TV option had sound. I’ve also tried it with Google Chrome and Brave Beta and sound works.
How can this issue be reproduced?
(With Windows 10)
- I open Youtube with headphones (headphones work) go to a video and no sound is heard (nothing muted)
- I used Duolingo and there’s no sound
- I try Khan Academy and there’s no sound
Expected result:
There should be Brave in the app sound settings and I should be able to heard sound on Brave.

Additional Information:
This is Windows 10, it’s an ASUS laptop. I’ve changed some Brave Shield settings to aggressive. Never had any problems with my headphones or built in speaker.
