I know that these ‘Here are a dozen questions, plz halp’ dumps are generally not well liked on forums, but I didn’t want to spam you with a bunch of threads all at once.
I wasn’t sure where to post this, since Support seemed to be more about specific technical problems. Also…
Chances are highly likely your post belongs in https://community.brave.com/c/help-me

My questions

I was going to ask if browsing in a tor window didn’t permit ads (since the rewards triangle isn’t visible in the GUI next to the URL bar), but I’m pretty sure I got one just now. Does tor have any effect on ad frequency/payout at all?

The browser in combination with the FAQ seem to suggest that in order to back up my local (unverified) quasi-wallet, I have to go through KYC to get it verified. KYC seems really excessive for something like this. It’s not like I’m going to start day trading BAT, I just want some peace of mind by backing up my hard-earned pennies (pending and secure, ideally).
Reward settings: “If you’d like to secure all of your funds in the case of clean installing the browser or switching to a new device, and have other benefits such as adding, withdrawing and transferring funds, we recommend connecting to a verified Uphold wallet.”
FAQ: “A verified Uphold wallet asks you to go through a KYC “Know Your Customer” process with Uphold and validates your identity”
Reading further, I might ‘only’ have to give them my full real name, which is still more than I want to do if I can avoid it. Is there no way to just copy some ‘BATrewards.smth’ file or access code or wallet seed or whatever and stash it somewhere safe?

Is there an opt-in way to build the auto-contribute list? Rather than having to constantly remove new sites I’ve visited but don’t want to support, I’d prefer being able to create a list of ones I do, and automatically distribute my monthly ‘income’ to them every month based on how much time I’ve spent on each.
-
If I understand things correctly, both auto-contributions and end-of-month tipping are completely anonymous regardless of whether you have a verified or unverified wallet, while insta-tipping with a verified wallet allows the wallet provider to know that John Smith donated X BAT to site Y. Correct?
-
Can a user with a verified wallet decide whether to end-of-month tip (to preserve privacy) or insta-tip?

Bitchute (the website) is a verified partner. Say a video uploader on bitchute also wanted to register as a creator. How would auto-contribute distribute the funds? Or do individual users never end up on the automatic Attention list?

Brave seems extremely eager to hibernate tabs. Is there any way I can limit that behavior? “Allow up to X tabs before hibernating the oldest one”, or similar? It’s becoming a nuisance.
