Searchbar in Brave Browser doesn't show a dropdown of past history, only the autofill of the website itself

Windows Version: Windows 11 Home version 23H2 (OS build 22631.4317)

Brave Version: Version 1.70.126 Chromium: 129.0.6668.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Description of the issue: I open a new tab, then type in a website. It fills it out like normal, but there are no more sublinks (e.g., two links from the same website) or a dropdown below the searchbar itself.

How can this issue be reproduced?
To be quite frank, I’m not sure. I simply open the browser one day and the dropdown that shows most used past history is gone.

Here is a GIF of my issue:

And here is a picture of settings that I think could possibly concern it:

@the_broom,
Can you confirm whether or not you have any extensions installed at this time and additionally, whether or not you’ve set any flags in brave://flags?

Lastly, if you were to create a new browser profile (Menu --> More tools --> Add profile), visit some sites, then go and start typing in the address bar, does site history appear there as expected?

@Mattches
To the first question: I have one flag that I’ve manually enabled, and that is Smooth Scrolling.

To the second, yes; the new profile does show history as expected. Another thing is that in private windows, it works as expected as well - just not on my main profile for reasons I do not know.

@the_broom,
Do you have extensions enabled in your main profile? If so, can you try disabling them and then testing the behavior?

@Mattches
Nevermind what I just replied to you with - it works after disabling extensions. I’ll try to figure out what extension is causing it. Thank you so much!

@the_broom,
Thank you for confirming. Yes please let me know what extension was causing the issue for future reference when you find out.

@Mattches
I… don’t actually think it was an extension in the first place. Thinking back on it, I just closed and re-launched Brave. Thank you for your time, though. I’m not sure how I didn’t try that first…
