Script Blocking Issues in local storage

Description of the issue:

I’m sort of a website dev you could say. I want to disable scripts from my browser, but allow the usage of that in certain specified sites. This has worked succesfully untill I tried to allow usage of scripts on a local storage. This would not work due to the fact I can’t open the shield menu in the right side of navigation bar, nor can I specify the local file in the list of allowed sites under javascript menu.

The issue isn’t present while the scripts are allowed by default. I can’t still open the shield menu in search bar while in a local file but by allowing scripts the local file works just fine.

Blocking scripts is quite limited in shields. Using something like no script extension might be more usable here.

I’d like to set Brave to let me run local scripts, while still blocking on the web.
