Screentime makes All brave windows on Mac go full screen

Description of the issue:
After I wake up and open my mac and it wakes from sleep, all brave browsers are now in full-screen mode (whereas before they weren’t). I have to go one by one exiting full-screen

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Open brave browsers
  2. Close Mac screen and let it sleep
  3. Open screen
  4. See all browsers are now full screen

Expected result:
The browsers should not be in fullscreen, but just inside their regular spaces before I closed the laptop screen.

Reproduces how often:
Every time my laptop go to sleep.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
MacOS Catalina

Bumping this as it’s still happening to me

I’ve just found out that when my Mac activates ScreenTime’s “Downtime”, then all windows go into fullscreen.

This seems to be the root cause of the issue. Now, does anybody know how I can fix it?
