Retrieve lost bookmarks

I reset my Windows computer and forgot to backup my bookmarks. I had a sync passphrase, but when I attempted to use it, it says it is expired. Is there any way to retrieve my bookmarks?

@sancho_panza sorry missed your topic, I see it’s been almost a week. Not sure if you figured things out, but you can get the sync working again via the information I share at Daily Expiring Sync Codes: Not Meant for Backup

Lost 1 folder, out of 3, of about a dozen important and sensitive bookmarks.
Noticed a hard reset occurred around mid-October without my initiating with a 70%+ battery.

iPadOS Version 17.7
Model Name|iPad Air (4th generation)
Model Number|MYFM2LL/A
Brave Version 1.70.1 (133)

0 of the 3 folders show up on mobile device

It took months of gathering to collect and organize these links. Please help.

Many thanks

Jembravo,

I use the Brave Browser (iOS) Bookmarks Export button, the tiny icon in the lower-left-corner:

in order to export the bookmarks to a new “Bookmarks.html” file.

And I use a cable connection from Apple iOS device to Apple Mac computer, in order to get a copy onto an external drive that is attached to the computer.

While other Apple iOS device users, rely on backup to Apple’s iCloud . . . I do not rely on that. And, I have a copy that is free from whatever crash-thing, that the Apple iOS device (and/or its software extant) has in mind.

As backup software in general, I use GoodSync:

Thank you sm! This is great to use going forward. Appreciate the recommendation. I’ve been feeling the need to move away from using iCloud storage.
Does this mean my collection of bookmarks are lost forever lol
