Request for Refund Due to Late Cancellation

I signed up for the 7-day trial of the Brave VPN, and unfortunately, I missed the cancellation deadline by one day. Consequently, the charge was processed on the 8th day, just before I could cancel the subscription.

As per Dutch consumer protection laws, consumers are entitled to a cooling-off period during which they can cancel their subscription and receive a full refund. Given that I canceled the subscription only one day after the trial period ended, I believe I am still within my rights to request a refund for the amount charged.
