Hi there 
I have my tab bar on the side (see screenshot) and enable the feature to auto-collapse it, whenever I hover over it.
The delay that is happening for this, slowly drives me a little crazy 
I did not yet dive very deep into Brave’s customization files, as the UI settings had been sufficient to me yet.
I suggest to remove this artificial delay entirely for all users, its really more annoying, than accidentally triggering it, at least for me.
In case this is not on the table, please tell me which value to change.
I hope its not in source code
