Tab hover mode takes too long to show the popup bubble, like 2 seconds, or longer. It’s like a cache has to get built up on the first tab hover. Appearance should be immediate on hovering over a tab. Since the popup appears under the tab, the tab itself is not obliterated, so there is no reason to delay showing the popup.
Only the first tab which is hovered over with the mouse has a delay to show the info popup. Once any tab shows an info popup, sliding the mouse over other tabs has the info popup appear immediately. Why the lag on hovering over the first tab?
I read the following thread:

but that says to go into brave://flags to change a hover setting. I searched on “hover”, but there were no matches, and there are far too many flags to drill through hunting for one regarding tab hover behavior.
