Description of the issue:
Hi team, not sure if posted before, couldn’t find anything other than a mention on a really old topic that was not even relevant to this problem here: CSS bug in Reddit tipping button
Problem is with “Tip” button on Reddit. It’s visible to all posts but when it comes to comments it’s ONLY visible on my own comments and not on other users comments.
On the screenshot the top comment is mine where the “Tip” button is visible. But on the comment under it there is no “Tip” button. What’s the purpose of tipping myself?

Reddit is connected with my “Creators account”. Tried from mobile browser result is the same. Tried from another PC, also same results.

See the “Tip” button under every comment on Reddit posts.

Windows 10.

I believe you can only tip someone if that person also has brave. You can tip yourself because you have a brave, but for someone that doesn’t have it you cannot tip them. This would explain why it happens in all your platforms.
Try to go to the following reddit post and search for my comment, my name is “DoruSonic”, and see if you see the tip icon. https://www.reddit.com/r/Herocantare/comments/lbm1ns/how_should_i_build_this/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb

hey, as gmacar mentions below the Tip button doesn’t show, checked myself as well
This is not accurate, on Twitter i can see the Tip on all tweets and try to tip them, if they have or not a creators account then it will say that on the pop up of the payment, BUT the “Tip” button is ALWAYS there on twitter.
Just found out that the “Tip” button is visible on the comment history section of an account. You can Tip a comment by browsing the comment history of a user but you cannot Tip directly on the comments under a post.
