Recent visual changes in Brave are horrible

The title says it all. The rounded right click menu is ugly. I’m using win10 so it doesn’t look like any of the other elements on my screen. My monitor display doesn’t have curved edges either.

The scroll thing on the right click menu - which only appears about 50% of the time for some unexplainable reason. And it is not due to my screen resolution or the windows scale settings or the browser text size settings - I’ve tested it with different setting combinations.
And last but not least, the god awful tab shape and position change. Who thought that having the tabs rounded is a good idea? And who thought that inserting a space between the edge of the brave window and the tabs is a good idea?
I personally switched from chrome to brave a few months back because chrome simply became ugly and in some cases unusable. It seems like you guys are making the same mistakes now. I know that brave is based on chrome and gets the same updates and so on but you could at least ask people in this site if they want the changes that change the way the browser looks and functions. Or at the very least make the changes optional.

The Brave team is trying to force users into using a poor design choice like floating buttons instead of tabs, just like Firefox is. Apparently, they’re trying to make vertical tabs happen (another extremely poor design choice that is trending nowadays) and these rounded buttons might make it look less shitty.

The problem with this is that they’ve screwed the real, good tabbed design with misplaced elements, but they seem to not care.

There was even a thread opened for this issue, but the Brave team seems to not like people pointing out how wrong they are and someone just closed it without fixing anything.

It’s simply pathetic.
If not for the pretty good ad blocker, I’d uninstall it - for good.
