I’m going to try keep it short, as there is no reasing to write long details.
There is a gap between the tab and the top of the screen, and now instead of having to directly go with the cursor to the top, i need to stop a little lower so I can select the damn tab:
Also, there is also a useless gap between the left/left corner of the tab and the edge/corner of the screen and again if I have to choose the first tab, Instead of directly going to the edge of the screen, now I need to stupidly stop the cursor before the edge:
What normal person would create such incredibly pointless design for the new tabs?
I am really wondering, who and how is this decided that this is the best design? Who tests this and come with the conclusion “oh yeah, this is certainly better than before” ?
More than that, with the last release ( 1.68.128 Chromium: 127.0.6533.73 ) I’ve encountered two bugs:
-
disabling “brave-horizontal-tabs-update” in the flags, does absolutely nothing, so I’m stuck again with this horrible design.
-
having two separate brave windows ( one with multiple tabs, and one with just one tab ), pressing middle click on the one with the single tab, will completely close all the tabs on brave, instead of that single one tab.
